Understanding fees on Tron can be tricky. TRX transfers use only Bandwidth, TRC20 and TRC721 use both Bandwidth and Energy, and costs change depending on resources. Developers often ask: “How much TRX will this transaction really burn?”
To make this easier, we have built the Tron Fee Calculator
What the Calculator Does
With the calculator you can:
- Select transaction type (TRX, TRC10, TRC20, TRC721).
- Enter addresses, contract, and amount.
- Instantly see the Energy consumption and Bandwidth consumption.
- Compare the on-chain burning cost with the TronFuel price.
- See exactly how much you save using TronFuel.
Example: TRC20 Transfer
Let’s take a simple example: sending 1 USDT (TRC20) from one wallet to another. A transaction like this consumes about 64,285 Energy and 346 Bandwidth points. If you do not have any resources, Tron will burn around 6.77 TRX to pay for the Energy and Bandwidth. With TronFuel the same transaction only costs 3.34 TRX. That means you save over 50% by letting TronFuel manage the resources for you.
This shows the real advantage of using TronFuel. Instead of burning TRX directly, TronFuel manages Energy and Bandwidth for you, cutting the cost in half.
Supported Transactions
The calculator currently supports:
- TRX Transfers (Bandwidth only, ~269 points)
- TRC10 Transfers (Bandwidth only, ~200–300 points)
- TRC20 Transfers (USDT, HTX, DOGE, etc. – ~65k Energy + Bandwidth)
- TRC721 NFT Actions (minting/transfers – ~90k Energy, depending on the contract)
This means you can estimate the fee impact across the most important Tron standards.
Why You Should Use It
The Tron Fee Calculator is not just a number-checking tool. It gives developers a clear picture of how much a transaction really costs on-chain and how much can be saved with TronFuel. By entering the details of a TRX, TRC10, TRC20 or TRC721 transaction, you immediately see the exact Energy and Bandwidth consumption and the TRX that would be burned. At the same time, you see the TronFuel price and the savings. This makes it easy to plan resources in advance, avoid unexpected “Out of Energy” errors, and calculate the costs of running a dApp. It is also a simple way to demonstrate to your team or customers how TronFuel can reduce fees by up to 70%.
